Our Sharing Boxes

Three community treasures on Mansion Street in Coxsackie NY, filled with possibilities and renewed daily by neighbors who believe in the power of sharing.

Little Free Library

Take a book, leave a book, or just take a book! From picture books to poetry, our library welcomes all readers and all kinds of reading. No late fees, no judgments, just stories waiting to be discovered.

Create. Share. Take. Repeat

The Mansion Street Little Free Art Gallery is always open and always changing. It's a place where community members share artwork, pick up free art supplies, and discover creations from neighbors they've never met.

Leave a drawing, painting, or craft you've made. Take supplies to create something new. Grab a piece of art that speaks to you. There's no curator, no opening night, no "good enough", just an ongoing celebration of creativity in all its messy, beautiful forms. We just ask that you leave the art work on the walls for everyone to enjoy!

Small treasures, big connections.

Our Keychain Exchange is a neighborhood spot for swapping tiny tokens of creativity and joy. Leave a keychain, take a keychain, or just browse the collection. You might find a hand-beaded creation, a quirky charm, a meaningful quote, or something that makes you smile for reasons you can't explain.

Get Involved

Sharing boxes are more than just free stuff. For us, they’re another act of rebellion, they're conversation starters, community builders, and proof that generosity multiplies. Here's how you can join the movement:

Start Your Own Box

Want a sharing box in your neighborhood? We can help! We'll guide you through building, placing, and maintaining your own community sharing space. No experience necessary, just enthusiasm.
